The professor Mariano Gallo appointed University mobility manager

The professor Mariano Gallo, full professor of Transport in the Engineering Department of the University of Sannio, was appointed mobility manager of the Sannio University.

The figure, according to the provisions of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructures and Mobility, has the task of planning and managing solutions for sustainable mobility. Its tasks include reducing the environmental impact caused by private vehicle traffic during home-work commuting.

The Home-Work Travel Plan (PSCL) is, in fact, the document that the mobility manager draws up to ensure that UniSannio employees and students are oriented towards choosing forms of green mobility and alternatives to the individual use of the private vehicle.

To this end, a survey was launched among students and university staff to detect current mobility habits and collect opinions on initiatives that the University can introduce to improve mobility.
