Inauguration of the Academic Year 2020/2021

The inauguration of the 2020/2021 academic year of the University of Sannio took place on Thursday 28 January 2021.

The Samnite university had the well-known scientific popularizer Piero Angela as a guest, who made his life a unique lesson. His participation gave the event a broad scope because it involved not only the academic community but the whole of civil society.

The event hosted the presentation of the report by the Magnificent Rector Gerardo Canfora and the greetings of the Mayor Clemente Mastella, the interventions of Silvia Di Virgilio, representative of the students, and Paola De Nigris, Representative of the Administrative Technical Staff, the opening on "A Universe beyond all imagination” by Professor Antonio Feoli and the concluding speech by the Minister of University and Research Gaetano Manfredi.
