The Degree Programme in Civil Engineering includes an internship as a compulsory curricular learning activity worth 6 ECTS credits (150 hours). These credits may be obtained by undertaking work placements outside the University of Sannio (preferably), including abroad, at companies, professional firms, organisations, public bodies, or other universities, or within the Department, through activities involving analysis, testing/experimental work, or research.
Students may also request recognition of internship credits for previous work experience, provided it is relevant to the subjects of the Degree Programme and is appropriately documented. In this case, the Programme Board will assess the request and, if the requirements are met, approve it.
Graduates who have obtained their degree within the last 12 months may undertake a post-graduation training internship.
To start an internship, it is necessary to submit an application through a university tutor.
