The Planning and Reform Committee is responsible for:

  • reviewing and processing amendments to regulations, the academic framework, and the programme catalogue;
  • improving coordination of course syllabi;
  • improving aspects related to the programme’s internationalisation.

Main objective: to liaise effectively with the Department Guidance Committee and put forward to it specific requests arising from the degree programme.

It is also responsible for:

  • managing the presentation of the educational offer in schools and visits by upper-secondary school students during guidance/orientation periods;
  • carrying out ongoing guidance activities through events dedicated to students;
  • processing procedures related to the Pathways for Transversal Skills and Guidance (PCTO);
  • collecting and disseminating information on placement and internships;
  • promoting the degree programme to companies and in the local area through traditional media and online;
  • monitoring and updating the degree programme’s websites.

Student representatives:

The Quality Committee acts as the QA Management Group and is responsible for:

  • assisting the Chair in drafting the SUA-CdS forms;
  • supporting the Review Group in assessing monitoring indicators and in drafting the periodic (cyclical) review;
  • defining procedures and deadlines for corrective and improvement actions;
  • monitoring the Degree Programme by collecting information from students and lecturers, and by assessing the recommendations of the Department’s Joint Committee and the Evaluation Unit (NdV);
  • organising meetings with stakeholders and preparing questionnaires if necessary;
  • assisting the Chair in maintaining constant contacts with the NdV and the University Quality Assurance Office (Quality Board);
  • analyzing statistical data relating to the programme’s students (enrollments, academic careers, degree completion, post-graduation employment);
  • analyzing the labour market and the views of institutions and companies;
  • comparing student-related data with those of other degree programmes within the same Department/University;
  • comparing student-related data with those of Italian degree programmes in the same class;
  • analyzing the opinions of students and graduates and identifying any critical issues concerning teaching staff or infrastructure;
  • assessing the adequacy of facilities (classrooms, laboratories, etc.) in relation to the needs of individual courses;
  • correlating statistical indicators from monitoring reports with measures taken, in order to verify their effectiveness;
  • developing proposals for the collection of data and information needed to verify the quality of the Degree Programme.

The Quality Committee is supported by the Review Group (RG), whose tasks are to draft the annual assessments for the monitoring reports and the five-year cyclical review report.

The RG is composed of the Chair of the Degree Programme, the Chairs of the advisory committees (Quality, Orientation and Study Plan), members of the Quality Committee up to a total of 2 lecturers for the Bachelor’s Degree Programme (CdL) and 2 for the Master’s Degree Programme (CdLM), at least one student representative for the CdL and one for the CdLM, and a representative of the technical and administrative staff.

The work of the RG is coordinated by the Chair of the Degree Programme.
