About the course
The BSc in Banking and Finance aims to develop the multidisciplinary knowledge and skills needed for careers in banking, financial services, and insurance. The programme offers:
- A solid understanding of economic, financial, legal, and business systems enables students to contextualise economic and financial phenomena in national and international macroeconomic settings
- Enhanced judgment and decision-making abilities for financial intermediation and capital markets
- The technical skills required to assess investment and financing choices for households and businesses
- Improved communication skills, including proficiency in English, to convey financial concepts clearly and persuasively
- Development of innovative learning methods and collaborative working skills
The course begins with a foundational year focused on theoretical and methodological basics. The following two years further develop analytical and quantitative skills, with strong emphasis on finance in the final year. The curriculum combines traditional lectures with case studies, simulations, project work, seminars, and guest speakers, fostering a close connection with the financial industry throughout the studies.
