The University of Sannio held the first edition of the Summer School. About 100 fourth and fifth year high school students lived for three days, from 13 to 15 July, a training experience in contact with the teachers of the University of Sannio to discover their university vocations.

In the classrooms and laboratories of the University they have deepened their passions through a wide range of courses on topics of economics, finance, law, on the great works of civil engineering from design to construction, on the challenges of electronics, on biosecurity, on environmental sustainability, on mathematics that meets other disciplines. It will not be just theory, in fact a lot of space will be dedicated to laboratory and field activities, with excursions, to approach the subjects of study and subsequent professional opportunities. Close encounter with university students for a comparison of experiences. There was no lack of moments of leisure to build community. Because the University is beautiful but living it is even more so.

In the opening address, the rector Gerardo Canfora quoted Malcolm X: "Education is your passport for the future because tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare it today. Discover your vocations - continues prof. Camphor - and choose the studio that is not only the key to personal success but also the path to build together the future in which you would like to live ".
