MLOL 2026

Starting in April 2026, the MLOL (MediaLibraryOnLine) platform will be completely revamped to offer an even simpler, more accessible, and more personalised digital lending experience.

The main new features include:

• New App and Portal: a fully redesigned interface, created to make navigation easier and to improve discovery of content in the digital catalogue of our University.
• Enhanced eBook lending: it will finally be possible to extend the loan period by 7 days (for titles protected by Readium LCP) or return items early, allowing more flexible management of your reading.
• Certified accessibility: thanks to the collaboration with the LIA Foundation, the platform has been optimised to ensure maximum readability and usability for all users, with particular attention to colour contrast and typographic hierarchy.
• Personalisation: new features will allow users to create lists of favourite titles and receive reading recommendations based on their interests.

What do you think you should do to keep reading? The MLOL Reader app update will be available from April 8, 2026. Users are invited to update the application on their devices (Android, iOS, Windows, macOS) to maintain access to the services. Institutional login credentials will remain unchanged.

The new UNISANNIO portal on MLOL will instead go live on April 15, 2026.
