UNISANNIO at the RE-GRAD Final Conference
On 24–25 September 2026, a delegation from the University of Sannio participated in the Final Dissemination Conference of the Erasmus+ RE-GRAD project – Reforming Undergraduate Education for Green and Sustainable Development in Armenia and Moldova, hosted by Yerevan State University, Armenia.
The UNISANNIO delegation included Prof. Eulalia Balestrieri, Scientific Coordinator of the project at the University of Sannio, Prof. Michelina Monaco and Mr Giuseppe Nappi. Prof. Pasquale Daponte serves as the project's Institutional Coordinator at the University of Sannio.
The event marked the conclusion of an international cooperation initiative involving 12 institutions from five countries – Armenia, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, France and Italy – aimed at supporting the modernisation of undergraduate education in Armenia and the Republic of Moldova.
During the two-day conference, the partners presented and discussed the project’s main achievements, including the redesign of eight Bachelor’s degree programmes, the integration of green and digital skills and the Sustainable Development Goals into academic curricula, the development of Sectoral Qualifications Frameworks, and the introduction of innovative teaching methods based on learning outcomes.
The conference also provided an important opportunity for universities, institutions, experts and representatives of European bodies to exchange views on the future of higher education in the context of the green and digital transitions. Particular attention was devoted to the impact of RE-GRAD activities, the sustainability of the results achieved and opportunities for future cooperation among the partner institutions.
The University of Sannio’s participation in RE-GRAD confirms the University's and its Department of Engineering's commitment to promoting educational innovation, internationalisation, and inclusive and sustainable higher education models that respond effectively to societal changes and evolving labour market needs.
RE-GRAD is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project coordinated by the Technical University of Moldova and co-funded by the European Union.
