From 10 to 12 September 2025, the University of Sannio will host in Benevento the 80th ATI National Congress – organised by the Italian Thermotechnical Association. This major national and international event will bring together experts from academia, industry, research institutions, and environmental associations.

The theme of this year’s edition – The future of energy: the difficult balance between nations and generations – aims to foster debate on the major challenges of the energy transition, sustainability, and intergenerational equity, with particular attention to the relationship between technological development, environmental protection, and energy policies.

The inaugural conference will take place on Wednesday, 10 September, at 3:00 p.m. in the Church of Sant’Agostino, within the Sant’Agostino Complex. Following the institutional greetings – with the participation, among others, of the Mayor of Benevento, Clemente Mastella – keynote speeches will be delivered by leading figures in the energy and environmental sectors, including:
