It will take place on Wednesday, 11 February, at 4:00 p.m., in the Conference Hall of Palazzo De Simone (Piazza Arechi II, Benevento), an open debate among the authors of the volumes Europe and the United States of America. Democracies Compared by Monica Simeoni and Globalization and Justice. The Limits of the Economy by Guido Tortorella Esposito.

The event will provide an opportunity to discuss the major themes of contemporary democracy, relations between Europe and the United States, and the challenges posed by globalization, with particular attention to the links between the economy, rights, and social justice.

The debate will open with greetings from Ernesto Fabiani, Director of the DEMM Department, and will be moderated by Professors Francesco Vespasiano and Carmen Vita. It will be held in a dialogic format, encouraging interaction between the authors and the audience.

The initiative is organized by the Department of Law, Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods (DEMM).
