The Italian Red Cross with volunteer nurses enters the University of Sannio to promote the culture of prevention. The first meeting dedicated to thyroid control and reserved for the entire UNISANNIO student population is scheduled for Wednesday 9 November 2022.

The endocrinologist screening will be free and will take place from 9 to 13 at the university building in Via dei Mulini (CUBO). A commitment that sees Dr. Annachiara Tarantino, specialist in endocrinology and volunteer nurse in the field.

"We immediately welcomed the initiative promoted by the Red Cross and the Voluntary Nurses of the Inspectorate of Benevento - said Rector Gerardo Canfora -. The goal of this campaign, which includes other meetings in 2023, is to raise awareness among our students on the importance of prevention through a healthy lifestyle and the right approach to medical checks. Being healthy means feeling good physically and mentally and knowing how to take care of yourself. From taking care of your well-being, you start to face daily challenges with the right energy.
