Presentation of the 24th INPS Report
Presentation of the 24th INPS Report
On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the presentation of the 24th INPS Report will take place in the Conference Hall of Palazzo De Simone, DEMM. The Report provides an updated overview of the transformations affecting the labour market and the welfare system in Italy, within a context marked by profound demographic and technological change. The data show high employment levels, while also highlighting persistent critical issues related to job quality, employment instability, and gender and territorial inequalities. The pension system is confirmed as broadly sound and continues to play a central role in income support and redistribution. Particular attention is devoted to social inclusion measures and support for families, as well as to the impact of digitalisation and innovation on services and organisational models. The Report therefore serves as an essential tool for interpreting current dynamics and guiding public policies from the perspectives of equity, sustainability, and development.
The meeting, introduced by Professor Paola Mancini, will feature remarks by Professor Ernesto Fabiani, Director of the DEMM Department, the presentation of the Report by Dr Micaela Gelera, Member of the INPS Board of Directors and Coordinator of the Pensions Commission of the National Council of Actuaries, and a discussion by Professors Rosario Santucci and Domenico Scalera.
*Certified attendance entitles students enrolled in the Single-Cycle Master’s Degree in Law to the award of 0.10 university credits for other educational activities, and students enrolled in the degree programmes in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Statistical and Actuarial Sciences, and Digital Administration Sciences to an additional 0.10 points to be added to their final degree mark.
