Startup WarmUp officially gets underway — an initiative promoted by the University of Sannio through its entrepreneurial culture lab MisterEnLab, in partnership with Sannio Valley APS. The goal is to encourage the birth of new innovative enterprises in the Sannio area.

Open to the entire university community — students, researchers, academic staff, and administrative personnel — Startup WarmUp aims to bring out and develop new entrepreneurial ideas by offering concrete tools to turn them into reality. It’s a valuable opportunity to explore the startup world, gain in-demand soft skills, and accelerate the creation of university spin-offs.

Participation is open to multidisciplinary teams, with particular attention to the inclusion of talents from diverse backgrounds, in line with an Open Innovation approach. Applications must be submitted by 25 May 2025, and the selection of projects will take place on 30 May 2025. The final event — featuring project development and presentations to a qualified jury — will be held on 10 June 2025, marking the first-ever hackathon to engage the entire UNISANNIO community.

Companies will also take part in the initiative, proposing real-world challenges to participants, offering prizes, and joining the jury. Three levels of sponsorship are available, with guaranteed visibility and the chance to award special prizes.
