Tuesday 29 June 2021, at 5.00 pm, at the DEMM Department of the University of Sannio - Aula Ciardiello - in Via delle Puglie, the Dante Alighieri Committee of Benevento, with the DEMM and the CADMUS consortium of the University of Sannio, for the 120th anniversary of the death of Giuseppe Verdi, organizes a meeting on "The works of Giuseppe Verdi and the construction of a national conscience".

After the greetings of Professor Elsa Maria Catapano, president of the SDA of Benevento and of Professor Massimo Squillante of the DEMM Department and president of CADMUS, Dr. Luca Bonomi, musicologist. At the end there will be the piano intervention by Maestro David Carfì.

The meeting is introduced and conducted by Professor Anna Ciancio, vice president of the Dante Alighieri Committee of Benevento.

It will be held in Italian.
