Part-time registration
All the info on the part-time student registration
Pursuant to the provisions of art. 34 of the Student Regulations, to which reference is made for further details, students who do not have full availability of their time for study can request to be engaged in studies on a “part-time” basis, following a study plan that includes, for each year of enrollment, a number of CFUs lower than that required by the program of the individual Degree Programs, increasing the duration of the studies (e.g., it is possible to increase the duration of the bachelor's degree program from 3 to 6 years with an average distribution of 30 CFUs per year, or from 3 to 4 years with an average distribution of 45 CFUs for each year, and so on).
The agreed duration of part-time studies cannot exceed twice the time set for the normal duration of the Degree Programs.
Students who are past the normal duration (fuori corso) are not allowed to opt for the part-time regime.
The request submitted by the student is forwarded to the competent Degree Program Council, which deliberates on the matter.
The position of “part-time student” precludes a return to the position of full-time student.
Failure to complete the course of study according to the timing and methods provided for by the agreed educational path entails its nullity and determines, with retroactive effect:
- the assignment of the “full-time regime”;
- the enrollment of the student in the year of the course calculated taking into account the times provided for by the normal duration of the Degree Program and the years accrued as past the normal duration (fuori corso).
How to apply
For the 2026/2027 academic year, applications for enrollment as a "part-time student", accompanied by the personalized study plan proposal, must be submitted, from September 1, 2026 to December 16, 2026, by email to the address ufficio.protocollo@unisannio.it . For students enrolling in the first year of two-year Master's Degree Programs, the submission of these applications is allowed until December 31, 2026.
Applications can be submitted only after the successful payment of the first enrollment installment for the 2026/2027 academic year.
It is advisable, prior to submitting the application, to agree on the personalized study plan by contacting the relevant departmental structures.
Payment of tuition and fees
The amount of the annual all-inclusive fee, net of the regional tax and stamp duty, is reduced by 30%, calculated taking into account the provisions of the no tax area.
Students, within the established deadlines, are required to pay the full amount of the first installment. Any excess amount paid on the first installment will be refunded following the approval resolution of the degree program council and the subsequent recalculation of the amounts to be paid.
If the student does not obtain the degree within the agreed duration of the Degree Program in which they are enrolled, the right to the reduction will be lost.
