Erasmus Plus is the EU's program for education, training, youth, and sport for the period 2014–2020. Approved by EU Regulation 1288/2013 of the European Parliament and the Council, it brings together all EU funding schemes previously in effect up to 2013:

  • The Lifelong Learning Program (Comenius, Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig);
  • Youth in Action;
  • The five international cooperation programs (Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Alfa, Edulink, and bilateral cooperation programs with industrialized countries);
  • It also includes Jean Monnet activities and significant support for sport.

This integrated program provides a comprehensive view of available funding opportunities, aims to simplify access, and promotes synergies among the different sectors by removing barriers between project types and encouraging new forms of cooperation.
