Research

The University of Sannio stands out for its open, responsible, and high-quality research. It supports interdisciplinary collaboration, the production of new knowledge, and innovation to address major scientific challenges and contribute to the cultural, economic, and social development of the region and the international community. Scientific activity is conducted across the University's three Departments: DEMM, which focuses on economics, law, management, and quantitative methods; DST, which focuses on basic, life, earth, and motor sciences; and DING, which operates in the key fields of engineering and information technology. The University also actively participates in PNRR programs, obtaining funding through PRIN, PRIN PNRR, and Cascade Calls, supporting multidisciplinary projects geared toward innovation, the digital and ecological transition, and strengthening collaboration with businesses and research institutions.
