Carmen Vita is an Assistant Professor in History of Economic Thought (subject group Secs-P/04) at the Department of Law, Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods (DEMM), University of Sannio, Benevento. She is a lecturer in Theories and Methods of Political Economy (SECS-P/04) and Tourism Economics (SECS-P/01) at the Department of Law, Economics, Management, and Quantitative Methods (DEMM), University of Sannio, Benevento. Her research focuses on the debate among economists on the “Southern Question” and development policies, the transformations of the Italian banking system, and the history of Italian Economic Thought.
