The University of Sannio organizes, in collaboration with the University of Naples Federico II, the European Control Conference 2019 which will take place in Naples from 25 to 28 June 2019. This is the XVII edition of the European Control Conference which is held every year since 2013 year under the auspices of the European Control Association.

The conference represents the most important event in Europe on the topics of academic and industrial research concerning the themes of automation, modeling, control of dynamic systems.
The scientific event will bring together over 800 academic and industrial professionals in the field of systems and control and intends to promote scientific cooperation and exchanges within the European Union and between Europe and other parts of the world.
The organization of the conference sees the University of Sannio in the front line. The General Co-Chair of the conference is prof. Luigi Glielmo, professor of Automatica at the Engineering Department. The General Chiar of ECC19 is prof. Franco Garofalo, former dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Unisannio. Other professors of Automatica from the Engineering Department also participate in the organizing committee: prof. Francesco Vasca as Finance Chair, prof. Luigi Iannelli and prof. Carmen Del Vecchio in the local organizing committee. The conference enjoys the technical co-sponsorship of the IEEE Control Systems Society and the International Federation of Automatic Control.
