Federica Arganese

Federica Arganese is a PhD student in Information Technologies for Engineering (41st cycle) at the Department of Engineering, University of Sannio, Italy. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sannio. Her current research focuses on the development and characterization of fiber-optic interrogation systems and their application to biomedical sensing and diagnostics.

• Fluorescence and absorbance spectroscopy
• Characterization of fiber-optic interrogation systems
• Optical techniques for tumor detection and characterization, with specific applications to brain and salivary gland tumors
