Francesco Saccone

Francesco Saccone earned both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Engineering at the University of Sannio.

He gained research experience through an internship in cybersecurity at Forescout Technologies – Vedere Labs in Eindhoven, focusing on Cyber ​​Threat Intelligence and Generative AI applied to cybersecurity.

He also worked as a research fellow on the METAfora project, focusing on malware analysis, LLMs, Threat Intelligence, and jailbreaking techniques.

He is currently a PhD student in Information Technologies for Engineering at the University of Sannio; his research focuses on cybersecurity, Large Language Models, malware analysis, and Cyber ​​Threat Intelligence, as well as the security and privacy of pre-trained models.
